She’s graduated from Industry Engineering Department at Sakarya University in 2016. During university education she worked as an intern engineer in three different firms. She focused on lean manufacturing techniques in her studies and internship programs. She studied lean manufacturing techniques for her university graduation project. Throughout four years in a furniture factory she practiced lean manufacturing techniques thus she eradicated wastes, had process development and provided employees in the firm with lean manufacturing culture through education programs she gave them.

She submitted the graduation project in which she reflected her gains in the firm to the Industry Engineering Department Evaluation Council. This project took the highest grade in AA (highest degree) grading system in June 2016. This project file has been attached as “Lean Manufacturing Graduation Project”.The Lean production achievement certificate approved by the Istanbul Institute was also deserved m.

One month later after graduation, she began working at a firm in automotive sector which is Yildiz Kalip A.Ş, in the production planning department. Among 2016-2018 years she was active in production related process at Yildiz Kalip. She has a pioneering role in making a lean team for preparing effective production plans. She was involved in firm’s value stream mapping, practicing 5S, kaizen and kanban lean manufacturing techniques thus she minimized unnecessary carrying, waiting and faults and she directed teams to produce in just ın time without any stock. With SMED studies, mold changing time is decreased. Ms Cosgun had a leadership among her colleagues during she’s working process in terms of lean manufacturing and she organized education seminars about lean manufacturing philosophy and techniques.

In 2018 she shifted to food sector as a production planning specialist in Tat Food . She’s responsibled to production planning of five factories belonging to this firm, optimizing production process and reporting this. Ms. Cosgun is almost completed four year in this firm. In this period she has been involved in lots of projects and joined in lean manufacturing and six sigma education programs. Six Sigma project reconstructed delisting process and augmented fill rate with a recovery at the rate of 6% increasing from 89% to 95% through standardization of delisting product process. In this way costumer satisfaction is provided by the firm. She has been active in 5S and kaizen studies in firm’s General Menagement building. The lean manufacturing techniques she practiced provided factories with process recovery and saving in time and money. She give lean manufacturing counseling to firms in order to reprocess and reconstruct the production, destroy the waste and to use efficiently time, power, labor, raw materials and aims she uses know-how of lean manufacturing which is one of the disciplines of industry engineering and she applies especially problem solving, crisis management and thinking in long term skills. She also uses empathy in personal relations along with these skills.

She is sensible and willing to be effective and quick in work life to assume responsibility required by her position. Eager, careful, curious and attentive working has successfull consequences and she’s aware of it.
